Our Community
Geographically speaking, Tri-Cities Tennessee/Viginia includes the area’s three main hubs: Bristol, Johnson City, and Kingsport. These three cities, known as the Tri-Cities, are approximately the same size in population and area and are spaced equal distances from Tri-Cities Regional Airport. Further comprising the region are approximately 40 communities scattered throughout 14 counties in two states.
The Tri-City Aviation hangar is just minutes from any of the three Tri-Cities, each home to a wide variety of activities, shopping, and great food.
No matter where you choose to explore during your time in the Tri-Cities, you’ll find plenty to enjoy!

History
Our region is proud to be the birthplace of Davy Crockett, country music and even the Long Island Iced Tea (depending on who you ask)! The Birthplace of Country Music Museum in Bristol is a great new addition to our lineup of cultural sites.

The Tri-Cities is home to some of the most beautiful scenery and hiking trails in the country.
Popular destinations include Roan Mountain, Beauty Spot, our gorgeous lakes (Holston, Watauga, and Boone), Bays Mountain State Park, Laurel Falls, Rocky Fork, and many more that are just a short drive from Tri-City Aviation. Biking enthusiasts will love the Tweetsie Trail in Johnson City, TN and the Creeper Trail in Abingdon, VA.
